With all the data logging we do for our motorcycle maps and publications we've 'been there and done that' and we're the experts in GPS Navigation solutions for Road and Off Road motorcycles. We've had years of experience with different GPS systems and have found Garmin to be our favourite brand, which is why we stock a selection of Garmin GPS units suited to road and off road use. Garmin GPS Units

Basic hand helds

These units do not support internal maps and are not very good for navigation along a route. Their main function is to direct you to way points or GPS coordinates. These units can be used for navigating our Recommended Loops but they can be difficult because the do not have an internal map.

Basic Mapping Hand Helds

These units come with a basic internal map and have the ability to upload Map Source Topo Maps either via USB cable to internal memory or some via memory card. They are perfect for following our Recommended Loops as our track files will overlay onto the internal map giving the user a better point of reference to navigate from.

Mapping Hand Helds with Custom Maps

More suited to Trail Bike Riders, these units are the cream of the crop. They support Custom Maps - a feature from Garmin that allows the user to upload digital copies or scans of maps into the unit. This means the unit can display high detailed maps such as Weekend Warriors and Rooftop Maps, which have even more detail than Map Source Topo maps.
